Worship Leader
Josh Adams
(928)-890-8181
Born and raised in Katy, Texas, Josh grew up in a Christian family, but it wasn’t until a close friend passionately shared the good news that he accepted Christ.
As a kid, he dreamed of being the next Earl Campbell, but a mild heart condition discovered in his youth prevented him from playing sports. God used that setback to direct his focus toward music. A youth pastor began giving him guitar lessons, sparking a lifelong passion for worship. He went on to earn a Certificate in Worship Leadership from Liberty University and completed a Worship Arts Residency at his local church, gaining valuable experience in ministry and leadership.
While serving at a church in Houston, Josh met his wife, Cha’Mira, and the two have been leading worship together ever since. He now serves as the Worship Leader at Clear Water Church, where he loves encouraging people to worship the Lord.
Outside of ministry, he has confessed that he really loves playing Halo on Xbox, even though he’s awful at it.

Administrative Assistant
Genny Ekkel
(616) 213-9299
I grew up in a small town in rural West Michigan, surrounded by agriculture, water, and lots of family. I was in church every time the doors were open, and attended a small Christian School from K-8th grade.
I was saved at the age of 5 years old, but it wasn’t until I was 16 that I truly desired to live my life as an offering for the Lord. God has carried me through some very difficult battles, and I am so thankful to be here today because of His hand of mercy on my life. When I was about to enter my senior year of highschool, God made it clear that He wanted me to go to Frontier School of the Bible in LaGrange, WY… population 378.
After completing 3 years of Bible College and earning my associates in Biblical Studies and Women’s Ministries, the Lord brought me to Alaska in May of 2024 to live with a family whom I did not know in a place I had never been! Little did I know that after a short time they would become MY family. I came up here as an intern to help them with their ministry of hospitality with InterAct Ministries, as well as help with daily family life. It was through them that I got connected with Clear Water. I have been blessed to get to be a part of such a wonderful community, and I am excited to serve in whatever capacity God would have me to.
